What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I am a Conveyancing executive. I have over 15 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
My experience includes all legal aspects of residential property, both sales and purchases of all types of freehold and leasehold property.
I am experienced in dealing with registered and unregistered land, including voluntary registration of land and adverse possession applications. I can also advise on new-build properties and the Government's Help to Buy scheme, including Help to Buy ISAs.
What’s your career background?
I started out as a legal secretary in my previous jobs doing different areas of law i.e matrimonial, child care, personal injury, and then Conveyancing. Whilst working as a secretary for a busy conveyancer. I took over more of a role as assistant and started dealing with more aspects of conveyancing than a secretary would.
Why conveyancing?
Whilst working as a secretary for a busy conveyancer I took over more of a role as assistant and started dealing with more aspects of conveyancing than a secretary would. I then progressed to having my own files and stayed with Conveyancing from then as I enjoyed the job .
What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?
I joined Home property Lawyers in 2005 for 6 years. I then left to accompany my husband who serves in the armed forces for four years in Cyprus. As soon as I returned to the UK I was re offered my job back and was so happy there was a position for me. I love working as part of a team.
What makes your house a home?
My husband and my dogs and the fact my dogs are always so pleased to see me at the end of a busy day.
