What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I work as part of the Management Team and am responsible for looking after client and referrer relationships, ensuring an excellent level of service is provided. I manage a team of conveyancers and assistants as well as contributing to business development, assisting in reviewing in house risk management procedures and arranging training for members of staff.
What’s your career background?
When I left school I trained as a hairdresser and worked within the industry for 5 years. I decided to change career and went on to work for HSBC in customer relations, dealing with customer enquiries, account opening and cash handling. I Started working at Langleys in 2006 as an assistant to a fee earner and have been trained on the job and progressed from assistant to conveyancer and was promoted to team manager in 2015.
I enjoy my job within our residential conveyancing team. It is a varied role and no two days are the same. Although conveyancing can be fast-paced and challenging, it is a very interesting area of work to be involved in, helping clients to buy or sell their property and achieving their end goal is rewarding.
