What do you do at Home Property Lawyers?
I manage the Technical Department, responsible for ensuring procedural compliance and considering risk management. I support junior members of staff providing suggestions/advice and work with others to find commercial solutions to problems to ensure that matters progress as smoothly as possible.
What’s your career background?
I started working in conveyancing in 2004 and became a solicitor in 2008. I started as a case handler at Home Property Lawyers, progressing to become a member of the Technical Department and then becoming part of the Management Team. The structured and supportive nature of Home Property Lawyers was a huge positive as was the career progression available. I am very proud to be a member of the team.
I enjoy problem solving and it is very fulfilling helping people achieve their goals. The challenges are many and varied, and I try to be as proactive as possible to help clients progress to completion and meet their expectations.
What do you love about working at Home Property Lawyers?
The teamwork and the friendly, respectful way we treat each other. It’s a cliché but we really are like a big family. We pull together when it gets busy and support each other.
What makes your house a home?
Every part of it! Though if I had to pick one room it would be the study and the many, many books it holds.
